Screw cable companies & their over-inflated prices. I hope they all go out of business.
Back in the 200X's I considered getting HBO soley to watch Sopranos, but realized that to get HBO I had to get basic cable & HBO in order to watch the show - the price of both was expensive. Screw that. So, I just waited until the latest season(s) came out on DVD & watched the show that way. Ditto for other cable shows.
ESPN has been going that way for quite a while. I rarely watch it anymore. Their embracement of Bruce Jenner being a hero clinched it for me. Like he is some hero for wearing a dress. Stick to sports. It was supposed to be the total sports network. Not anymore.
Yup, and remember folks, who owns ESPN, the same people that push cartoons to the children.
Just about ready to dump Time Warner Cable. Same as most, 200 channels and watch maybe 5 or 6. Will keep Internet, just not sure what type of antenna to get for the HDTV. All I remember with an antenna years ago was lots of snow and static.
