Cody Johnson, 30, and his girlfriend brought an unresponsive Sawyer Jefferson to a Tulsa hospital on Saturday, saying that the girl had tripped over her pajamas and fallen on a toy.
Doctors found that the girl had multiple bruises and was bleeding from her vagina and rectum, Johnson's arrest report said. No lawyer for him was listed on the document.
The girl was placed on life support and later died at the hospital.
You know, I just love these explanations. "Tripped over her pajamas and fell on a toy"... as she's bleeding from her vagina and rectum. Do these idiots really not think doctors are going to examine the baby and see her injuries, after they brought her there themselves? Do they really think the medical professionals are so dumb that they would actually believe that falling on a toy after innocently tripping over your pjs would cause injuries to the vagina and rectum, so badly that they are both bleeding and the child is unresponsive? Boggles my mind almost as much as the sick criminal act itself.

Sounds like some of the excuses that pervert from Penn State used before he was locked up.
And WHAT on earth was the point of this post? Making excuses for him because the abuse "might have" been by "another instrument"? I just can't believe anyone would make an excuse for the POS, but the way you wrote it sounded like it. Or did you just decide to tell us about another horror story that we might find "interesting"?
Some of your threads and posts make me wonder if you don't understand how you come across ...
I would think that my noting that Oklahoma has a death penalty would make it clear that I was making no excuses for him.
As far as what I might have been trying to illustrate....well, I find it easier to see the situation as, potentially, perforation as oppose to that and ripped apart. That and to briefly note for others here that various sexual abuse cases are not all motivated by the same impulse (ie, why this when there are escorts?).

Sooner or later, we must all lose our innocence, I suppose, but at times I think it is better that it is later. In my book, there are three kinds of people in worlds such as this. There are the innocent, there are those who are willingly in this world, and then there are those who are forced into it and are, probably, desperately trying to back to the innocent world.

Rather agreed. One of the early criminologists, Cesare Beccaria, noted in his work, "On Crimes and Punishment" (I believe) of crimes that were the work of the devil (my words) and outside the realm of his analysis. He doesn't go much into these situations but at the very least, it suggests that there were some pretty horrible offenses back then.

I think we've rather heard, if not seen, such explanations for decades. I remember my 5th grade social studies teacher telling us the various excuses told at the ER. If not those, there was https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffrey_R._MacDonald
Basically, IMHO, if one is desperate to get out of a situation, particularly if they did it intentionally, they will make up a story that they find believable even if others probably won't. They may even, if they tell it to themselves enough, believe it themselves.

It doesn't have to do with being lonely or sexually frustrated. A lot of these predators have girlfriends or are married. They just like doing this sick stuff.

Yes. And it brings out the evil in me.
There was a case here in NYC a few years ago where the live-in boyfriend murdered his girlfriend's seven-year-old daughter. The mother was THERE and did not stop him. Even worse, it came out that he had been sexually abusing the child for some time, but the worst--the part of it that haunts me most--is that the MOTHER, in prison for being an accomplice, reportedly told another inmate, "I knew that she (the little girl) was possessed by a demon when I walked in and found her performing oral sex on my boyfriend."
I dreamed of breaking into that prison and tearing that "mother" apart limb by limb.
There is a special place in Hell for child abusers
And, if I remember correctly, even prisoners hold child abusers to be the lowest of the low and will certainly abuse him the same way he abused her. I hope that he will never be able to sit the entire time he is in jail.
I hope that the other prisoners keep him engaged and well enlarged for his special welcome to HELL!
I agree with you and the inmates are well aware of who the perp is and when he arrives. However, here, when they have a thug whose life is in danger, they put them in solitary in max.
