Woman claims on viral video she hugged a struggling cashier who was dealing with a family suicide. Walmart refutes claim and states video surveillance doesn't show it. Cashier also denies incident.

Idiot woman, attention seeking foolishness again.

Thread title is a little misleading. It implies that Walmart forced the cashier to keep working even in the face of personal tragedy. But the actual story is that the cashier kept working because he couldn't afford to lose the income. Nowhere is it stated or implied that Walmart wouldn't have given him time off if he had requested it.

In any case, it certainly sounds like the woman wants to be known as a good-hearted person who would respond with compassion to someone having a hard time . . . even if she didn't actually technically do so in actual real life, in this case.

It's a hoax, and a non-story. Yahoo shouldn't have even given this idiot the attention she was so desperately seeking.
