I know this kind of stuff unfortunately happens occasionally but Tulsa area is having a real week. I think I read somewhere they are on the 10th child abuse murder case for children under 2 on the year. That sounds really high.
A Tulsa man has been arrested in the death of a 1-year-old who authorities say showed signs of sexual abuse and physical trauma.
Another newspaper article with more graphic details said that the hospital staff was tipped off to the abuse because the unresponsive 1 year old was bleeding from the rectum and vagina.
The child was unresponsive and in cardiac arrest upon arrival. Doctors also noted she had numerous contusions on her face, as well as bruising and bleeding from her vagina and rectum, according to the arrest and booking report.
The report states the extent of internal trauma to the child’s genitals is consistent with “extensive forcible penetration.”
A Ramona woman and her boyfriend have been arrested in connection with the death of her 4-year-old daughter, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Courtney Hansche, 26, and Michael Nordbye, 27, were booked Wednesday night into the Washington County Jail on complaints of first-degree murder, first-degree rape and child abuse.
A Collinsville man was arrested Tuesday on allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman with a baseball bat and held a pillow over her 4-month-old child’s face for several minutes, police said.

I lived in Tulsa for a few years and am happy to report that I met a lot of people who weren't like this.
I think in the cases mentioned above, there is a common element of mom and her child and then a boyfriend. There is this friends with benefits deal and apparently no real stability in relationships. The mom dates trashy guys.
Once you have kids, you have to put them first. That may mean no dating. Many of these mom's aren't ready to to have kids and put them first.
Tulsa spelled backward is A Sl*t.
