What the hell is wrong with people?

Cell phones don't kill people, poor judgment does.

Maybe he was trying to use the phone as a flash light to find his way out of the area.

I think this was the couple who tried to navigate out by cell phone lights:

Searching for that story, I saw others that said hikers saved by their cell phones but let's face it..................

......................when you need a beam to guide you, a glow isn't going to cut it.
