But not to worry with your great pet and your knowledge that people who are against this breed are akin to bigots, discriminating against other humans based on religion or race, you already won your price......as mentioned above!
When I see 3 or more pitbulls, I have to ask whether dog fighting took place within this pack. A single 24 year old woman with 3 pitties, to me she was housing the dogs, that is too many pitties to keep as pets in a mobile home. imo
You cannot leave a child alone with any pack of dogs but this was really, really neglect.
And she is too young to have a 9 year old child. I mean yeah some 15 year olds give birth but..
Pit bulls are just plain dangerous and can turn against their owners. I am all for a pit bull ban where they cannot be near or living with children. Harsh but so is reading about pit bull attacks.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: There is ZERO excuse for owning pit bulls. None. You cannot give me a justifiable reason for owning them.
There's a reason you can't even rent a house or apartment while owning them (or it's incredibly difficult in all but the uttermost ghettos), and that's because no insurance company will underwrite for their liability.
It's not the dog's fault, per se, that incidents like this occur, it's just doing what it does. A Pit Bull killing a child is no different an act than doing what a Tiger or Cheetah or Hyenna does, or what even a turtle, or a fish does. It's just doing what it's genetically programmed to do.
