As an employee of any level in a retail position you are told in that situation to give them whatever they want. Your life is not worth whatever it is they are after. With very few exceptions people robbing these places have no intention of actually harming the employees. So there will be a level of scrutiny because while he was acting on behalf of self defense, he also represents T mobile as an entity which will be just as liable, and would much rather file an insurance claim from a robbery then have vigilante justice as a company policy for loss prevention.
CC or not, I'd be interested in who I'm working with is packing. I can get into some pretty heated directives as a "Safety Officer" on site and the last thing I'd need is someone thinking it's all right to take their gun to work. We've had rifles up here and I've had to handle that; that was bad enough.
