My grandson tried to use GoFundMe to raise $5000 for an upgrades to his Audi. He got exactly "$0".

Yes, I knew someone who lost everything in a fire. He had lost a newspaper editor job and was living as a chaperone in a group home with challenged adults and trying to do some freelance editing and playwriting. All he asked for was enough money to get a laptop. A lot of people from the local writers groups contributed.

Hey Peeps - we can just bypass GoFundME. Instead of my winning the lottery if you all just chip in a couple bucks each if will be just like winning the lottery! You all can just PM me your bank account number and PIN and I'll take care of everything from there.

As I said before if people want to donate to her gambling on lotto tickets what difference does it make to you or anybody else?

Please help me and my family as we have exausted all of our funds. We spent all of our money on lottery tickets (expecting to win the 1.5 billion) and are now in dire need of cash. With your small donation of at least $1.00, a like and one share, I’m certain that we will be able to pick ourselves up from the trenches of this lost and spend another fortune trying to hit it big again! PLEASE, won’t you help a family in need. DONATE NOW.

Yes, lets please help them "pick themselves from the trenches of this 'lost" so they can spend another fortune trying to hit it big. Please help a family in need!!

Ahh..NO.

Can't believe people actually were dumb enough to fall for this one, but like someone else said, "You can't fix stupid".

What does it say about the people who felt sorry for her? Possibly, people should have told her to get a job or a second job to pay for her own mistake.

It was fake and it was a joke, which is why GoFundMe shut it down.
