The gases build up high up in the air.

Handwritten plea to flight attendant about 'farting

Quote:
A disgruntled flier was so offended by a fellow passenger’s mid-flight flatulence that he wrote note to a flight attendant pleading her to make an announcement for the person to "see a doctor."

The note, written on a napkin, was later shared on Reddit by user Garwee20: "My flight attendant mom got this napkin from an upset passenger."

What an idiot passenger. I can see being unhappy in that situation, but his response to it is ridiculous.

LOL! I guess writing a note is better than sitting there and doing nothing.

I used to sit next to a guy in college who liked to hike his leg up and fart. They weren't silent. Apparently, it was his vegetarian diet. I was polite about it, but it happened every day so I started getting there earlier and switched seats. I was complaining to some guy friends who knew him. They laughed because they had the same problem with him except he lived in the apartment next door to them.

I don't know. If I was on a 16 hour flight dealing with that, I might be tempted to do the same thing.

Why not confront the perpetrator directly and ask politely if there is something that could be done to alleviate the problem?

What was this doofus expecting the flight attendant to do about it?

Should the flight attendant have actually confronted the offender they would have instantly known who put the complaint in anyway.

Once on a short flight/small plane from Houston to Little Rock my son kept farting, SBD farts. I whispered to him to stop and he said he couldn't help it. It got to the point where I was getting screechy and the surrounding passengers were simultaneously laughing and gagging. I was so glad to get off that plane.

Been around a LOT of vegetarians, and I can vouch for this. Beans at every meal?

I tend to be highly skeptical of these stories on social media when people are manufacturing things to go viral.

There is not much factual information in this post.
