These trials are going to be like the Charles Manson courtroom spectacle.

Seems an ethics complaint has been filed against Bundy's lawyers.

Those two look like a couple of winners.

It has only just begun.

The same charge that has been levied on them all- illegal interference with a federal officer doing his duty- can be charged against at least another 50 to 100 individuals who participated in either the Bunkerville, Nevada standoff in 2014 or in the Malheur Bird Refuge standoff. Multiple counts can come to come to those who participated in both.

Many of the individuals can also be charged with other felony offenses.

In addition, aid and abetting charges could be brought to all those who helped them. That could easily be another 100 to 200, depending on what the aiding and abetting consisted of.

Who knows how low that sorry parade of perp walking could be? It should be obvious by now that the feds have been gathering evidence by using facial recognition and all the other sophisticated stuff Homeland Security developed. Since a lot of those threepers have been on unemployment, or are getting disability and/or welfare or are on Social Security, they're all sitting ducks now because they're all in the system some way or other.

Ironically, once convicted of a federal felony, not a one of them can ever own a firearm again, and all the ones they own now will be seized upon arrest. In effect, they will have disarmed themselves from their impulsive actions.

We are going to be hearing about this for a very long time to come, I'm sure. Publicity is as much a weapon in the war against domestic terrorism as any other.

Meanwhile, roughly 1,000 head of Bundy cattle are roaming wild. Contractors decline to round them up to the danger of being gored by the wild cattle or shot by Bundy supporters.

Bundy, 18 others indicted in 2014 range standoff in Nevada

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Federal authorities rounded up 12 people in five states on Thursday, bringing to 19 the number of defendants facing conspiracy, assault and threats charges in a 2014 armed standoff over grazing cattle on U.S. land near renegade cattleman Cliven Bundy's ranch in southern Nevada.
These people are idiots thinking they won when BLM agents backed down, the feds have all the time in the world to get their ducks in a row and make arrests at a more suitable time.

Yup.
All of them expected another Waco to happen, but they didn't pay any attention to what followed after Waco, back in the 90s. The policy changed to one of patience first.
This change worked a lot better; there was a 'sovereign citizen' movement that sprouted in Montana in the late 90s. About a dozen guys decided to print their own money, refuse to pay taxes, and took to harrassing the local Sheriff and citizens of the nearby town, very similar to Burns.
The FBI surrounded the ranch they holed up in and waited them out for almost 4 months. As far as I know, the leaders are still in prison.

There will never be another Waco or Ruby Ridge. With all the sophisticated technology that has been developed since 9/11, it's much safer to arrest these guys at home or somewhere when they least expect it.

They can talk all they want, but if they start pointing guns at law enforcement officers, they will be arrested. It's hard to say just how many more arrests there will be, but it's apparent that the feds are being very methodical now. The bystanders and those who carried weapons but didn't point them at anyone won't be busted. But those who did, and those who made threats on life will be, for sure.

.

Interesting article on the "sovereign citizen" movement. Fascinating.

Intrigued by their attempts to use their own currency or "fictitious financial instruments" as it is referred to in the article and the frauds and scams they pull on one another.

Sovereign Citizen Movement -- Extremism in America

The Bundy bunch has led a lot of folks down a similar garden path.
