This was right in my backyard. Very sad situation. Domestic violence situations are arguably the most common and dangerous for police officers.

Don't think he is going to be doing a lot of rotting. Virginia is a death penalty state and historically has been pretty quick in executing people on death row compared to other states.

Since 1968, more Americans killed by guns than all the wars combined.

America needs to institute public or private executions!!!!! This is the only way to stop this craziness. Stop making court workers and attorneys wealthy playing games of try and re-try people when facts show they are guilty or they have created some act so heinous that its evident in all perspectives.
People killing police officers and people killing mates, killing their families, and people going on general and random public killing spree's should elevate to the top of the list, then add in gang killings, mob killings, robbers who kill, drive by shooters, rapist, child rapist and corporate criminals who destroy companies for greed.

We should not allow " Not Guilty Plea's" by people who committed acts when it is known they committed the act. There should be a penalty for submitting a "false plea".

I do wonder why the headline had to say "policewoman" rather than just officer - did they think they'd get more sympathy clicks? Sorry, but whenever I read policewoman I think of Angie Dickinson.
