The more we read the actions of true believers of this religion call Islam, the less positive things we have to say about it. I know every religious group has its loonies but my goodness these Muslims at the moment, are head and shoulders above all the others in terms of actions of this nature.

Or is this just media hype?

That is really sad. The muslim shop keep was doing the right thing. He came to Scotland and worked for the community providing a service for his muslim fellows and Christians alike. There are plenty of good muslims out there that contribute to society in a positive manner and then some idiot had to kill him for it.

It is pure ignorance and hate that murdered that guy.

The guy was an Ahmadi Muslim, and they are far more moderate than Sunnis or Shias. They suffer persecution because other Muslims don't think they are real Muslims.

Sadly, I don't think it would have saved him Rakin. His killer would simply have come into the shop with a gun, instead of a knife. That's the problem with gun access..... it's not just the good guys who will own them.

We may see a lot of laws change over the next 20 years in Europe. Hopefully for the benefit of the Citizen and not in favor of the Criminal.

Nonsense. The Europeans are in no rush to adopt our kill kill kill model. The change you speak of is already on the way in the form of immigration reform and rethinking of the open border practice. They are also putting more effort into monitoring "citizens" of a certain region, belief or with the propensity for terrorism.
