But wait, AfternoonCoffee quotes an article as saying that she was " given anesthesia and had eggs removed following a hormone treatment apparently for an ovarian cyst." If this is true, they could have gotten a lot of eggs out of her. A woman her age could produce 20, 30, or maybe even more. The doctor could make a lot of money off a big batch of illegally retrieved eggs like that, especially if he sold them to more than one patient.

I completely agree with tlarnla. There is a big demand on eggs and eggs donors. It isn't a problem to undergo standard ivf treatment or combine it with PGS NGS (in case of mcs or genetic illnesses), but it is a big problem to easily find a proper egg donor, who meets medical and physical appearance criteria. Even if a woman decides to undergo her treatment at a clinic, she will queue for a few months at least. And it might occur that she will experience high-risk pregnancy or mc. So she will need several ivf de tries, it means she will need a few egg donors. And when a woman is aged 45 and older, she has no time to wait too long. She can also undergo her treatment at overseas clinics or be treated by such a "doc"

Very weird.

Women donate eggs all the time, and get paid pretty well to do it, why would a doctor forcibly steal them?

He wouldn't. Unless he was Dr Frankenstein. Sounds like she didn't get the job and fabricated a story. And considering today you are guilty until proven innocent.......
