I live in northeast Texas, square in the middle of a swath of land identified on Jade Helm maps as being a pretty active part of the exercise (I live between Caddo Lake and Waco). A few weeks ago I saw a flurry of military vehicles and helicopters but they may have been related to tornado clean up/humanitarian missions locally.
Anyway, no problems so far. No hysteria among the population either - in fact, I've only heard a few people talking about it and that was simply along the lines of "Has anyone seen any military personnel around?" We don't live near a military installation so they'd be sort of obvious if they were in military garb or vehicles.
I did hire a sniper dude to sit in a tree in my backyard, but so far he's been a lot more trouble than he's worth. He keeps wanting to come in and use the bathroom and then he hangs around the kitchen hoping I'll feed him. And my dogs aren't too crazy about him either.
But he looks cool in that web stuff. I can hardly see him when he's up in that tree. I just wish he'd stay there.
I'm near the Texas border and so far, no indications of the Feds moving large chunks of the locals into Walmart prison camps. But I'll be sure to notify everyone if and when they do.
I know it's early in the game but is there any word on how the folks in Texas are holding out?
