A grieving father tried to attack the serial killer convicted of murdering his teenage daughter during sentencing in court but was restrained by security. I do not know why this does not happen more often.

The murderer sat there and smiled at the grieving father.

The deputies should have let the father rip him to shreds.

I know this is a very sad, sad story, but when I saw him execute that WWF-worthy dive across the courtroom, I just thought that was awesome to see. Really torn between the gravity and tragedy of the situation and my awe at this schlubby looking guy who, fueled by pure dad rage, literally flew at his daughter's killer.

Watching the video, the security cop was quick to block the father landing on the evil grinning monster.

Unfortunately.

And yeah, I know we can't have meyham in the courts, but seriously, can't we occasionally make an exception? Hopefully the judge will have the common sense to only give the father a small fine. (like 50 bucks or something which I'm sure anyone would happily pay for him.)

The sentence should be to turn the scumbag over to the father for whatever fate awaits him.

They showed this scene last night on all our local news stations. I don't blame the dad even though he was out of line. I hope he doesn't get in trouble because of this.

I feel for him.

About one of the few things some foreign countries get right in terms of Justice is allowing the victims to personally mete out punishment to the perpetrators.

I saw that video. It's too bad because it looked like he barely touched him since those idiot guards blocked him.

Michael Madison, I remember this guy, East Cleveland serial murderer. Two things that make him a rare breed in the serial killer world: 1) He's black. Most serial killers in the US are predominately white. 2) He killed black women, also most victims in the US are white. I'm pretty sure he killed three women and buried them all in his yard if I remember correctly. The odor of the victims is what got him caught. The sad thing about this case is Mr. Madison was already a registered sex offender at the time of the crimes. There were warning signs, he'd even been caught, but because of our lenient criminal justice system, he was a free man and walking the streets.

If the father is upset with Mr. Madison, he should petition his local government for harsher laws/punishments on sex offenders. There are many many examples of sexual predators being jailed, released and then caught again for the same crimes. It's a crying shame that we, as a public, have to check sex offender websites before we move into a neighborhood for the safety of our kids...
