I just read another article on it and the woman who bought the freezer said the seller told her that there was some sort of 'time capsule' in the freezer and that a church would be by to pick up the contents . When the church never showed up and that's when she decided to open the freezer and saw a foot and called 911.

She also said that the seller of the freezer moved out the day she sold it and she also said that she hadn't seen the sellers mom in about 6 mos. or so and that's who she suspected it was.

I can't even imagine what the seller told her to convince her that she couldn't open the freezer, or maybe the buyer is just a little dopey or really trusting.

It's mind boggling.

I agree with the poster who said those SS checks may have had a lot to do with stuffing mom in the freezer.
