Just curious , wouldn't this mean he was boiled alive!? Probably has to be one of the most horrible way to die .

Unfortunately he's just the latest addition to a long list of people (many of them children) who have died in the thermal features of Yellowstone.

The boardwalks are there for a reason, folks!

He clearly didn't see the warning signs.



Yes that's a Yellowstone warning sign from the hot springs and thermals area.

The icky part is the statement in the report of

He fell in Tuesday afternoon, that water is boiling, recovery operations would need to be delicate.

What could the rangers possibly recover other than the skeletal remains? I don't consider the ranger's lives worth the risk.
