I fancy that it would be easier for a mathematics teacher to dip into the argot of the underclass than to express the problem precisely in, say, Standard English. Unfortunately, many, if not most, of them are barely literate. English lecturers, befuddled by reading Shakespeare &c, aren't much better. I feel sorry for the poor children, who are obliged to respond to such bilge

Someone sent me this about 4 years ago same picture and teachers name was the same I think it was made up then still funny story.

This actually happened. The test has been used numerous times (the teacher didn't make it up herself).

She should have thrown in a couple of names like "Christian", "Jonathon" (spelled like that) or "Sebastian" and then she might have had some plausible deniability.

She probably wanted to be a legend, so she did something crazy just before retirement.

Mobile, Alabama? And her looks? She shouldn't be making fun of anyone else. lol.
