A recent study in Israel revealed that they have fewer peanut allergies compared to Europe and America. Possibly it's because of a popular snack food "Bamba" --a kind of peanut butter Cheetos--that most kids eat. Maybe regular exposure at an early age makes the difference.

Because in my area, most of the guys smoked. For the first time ever, I am dating a non smoker and it is absolutely the best.

Love Bamba!! Can only handle it in small amounts though. And I never know what to drink with it...since it's not exactly sweet but not exactly salty...Any suggestions??

And peanut butter is very popular in the United States.

Yes, but for many years parents have been told not to give their children peanut butter until after the age of 2 or 3 years because "early exposure might cause allergies." Some parents I know became so nervous about peanut butter than they waited even longer...until 4+ years old!

This turned out to be exactly the wrong advice and has exacerbated the peanut allergy problem.

The newest recommendation is to introduce peanut butter well before the age of one year. Some doctors are saying 4-6 months.

More sensationalized "journalism" by the article headline and the OP who posted it. She died from an allergy to peanuts not from the act of kissing. But whatever gets views. The article writer and poster here are happy by all the views that's all that matters
