I agree with all the posters here that are dismayed at the lack of personal responsibility in our society anymore.
I could possibly understand this if it were little children at the party, and there were no adult supervision - but she was almost 30! She was an adult!

I feel bad for her parents and family, but she was an adult who made some really bad choices, and really no one is responsible but herself. It was an accidental drowning - but due to her own bad choices.

Sad, and the parents need to look in the mirror long and hard and make peace with the daughter they raised.....or didn't

A 29 year old that acts like a 6 year old.
