I personally love their Smoked Paprika mayo, but its $7.50 for a small 4oz jar. I haven't tried all the flavors though.
Insanity. Even by NY standards.

Mayo is stupidly easy to make. Perhaps people figured this out?

Not really. The neighborhood in Brooklyn this store is in, the rents are as high as $5,000 a month for 2br, so the people in the neighborhood can afford the $40 mayo.

This post said exactly what I was thinking. Home made mayo is easy, and even if it's not homemade, flavored mayo would be stupidly easy to make. Add spice to mayo and stir.

Hellman's, Duke's and homemade cover all one's mayonnaise needs. Now if they were to open a free-range Catsup Boutique...
