Yeah better watch out for getting raped by a dolphin next time I visit the ocean. LOL I guess your dog is "raping" you when he humps your leg as well.

So why does a tiger shark eat tires? You're on the menu pal if you run into one. It's an animal acting on instincts. Big eats little. It's not always "misidentification". Bull and tigers especially are opportunistic predators that will eat anything.

BTW GW hunting method IS to bite ONCE then release it's prey to bleed to death.

Sharks don't "enjoy his day". That requires complex emotions/feelings, which a fish doesn't have. Every 30 seconds, they forget their entire life so it's hard to "enjoy your day". It's a simplistic creature. Stop applying human psychology to an animal. It's absurd.

It's nice to be spoiled and live in a first world country where you have the money to go to the grocery store and buy beef, chicken, fish, etc which have already been killed for you and packaged up in nice little plastic wrapppers. Not everyone in every country has the luxury to do that though. Yes, pre killed meat is available in all those country's but not everyone can afford it so they take advantage of any opportunity they can get to take food home. And I am 100% positive that shark was cut up and taken home.

And blue sharks? They are one of the most common sharks in the ocean. They can be a PITA when tuna fishing at night as you can't get away from them and they keep biting off your rigs. We catch a bunch of them here when fishing for makos and though they (blue sharks) may be worthless in our opinion ( horrible to eat so why kill a blue dog as your 1 shark a day per boat limit) but to some poor family in the DR I'm sure they are edible. I'm sure they're all just fish to them.

I've seen the type of fish they'll take home in those country's. Have worked in Venezueala and fueled up several times and got weathered in at Punta Cana on the way to and from so i am families with that part of the world. They don't just clean a fish and put it in a cooler or freezer all cut up. They'll leave it on the dock, beach or wherever in that 90 plus degree heat and finish they're day working. Then they'll go cut it up and take it home.

There is deep water right outside the cut there so a I can see a blue shark wandering in the shallows there. I have caught marlin right offshore of there as well. The locals around the bend, where there is world class blue marlin fishing, will threaten the US and other international anglers on the traveling sportfish boats when hooked up to a blue marlin and will cut the fish off unless they are promised they will get the fish. Basically, they will do whatever they can to harvest anything from the ocean to sell or take home.

Lol mystified nice try.

I think there are way more things that are wrong in the world for people to get their panties in a wad about. Certainly a dead shark falls very low on my compassion chart.

Shark dies after being dragged out of the ocean for 'selfie' - 9news.com.au

Not sure what to think about this (never cared for predators like sharks, lions and tigers). The baby dolphin incident made me mad though.
Got to be honest here .. f that shark. He would have eaten those people if he could have. And in fairness, when a shark chows down on a beach goer, I figure .. meh, that dude would have probably dragged that shark out of the water and killed him for a cool selfie if he could have.

So, you're ok with a 9 year old being eaten by it? Thanks...

It should be open season on them. They attack people all the time.
100,000,000 sharks killed/year

An average of 4-5 people are killed by sharks/year

Hell, horses kill 20 people a year. Should it be open season on horses? I mean, they are 4-5 times deadlier than sharks, the murderous beasts!

I find it hard to believe these people just waded into the water and pulled the shark to shore for photography purposes.I believe the shark was either already dead or in extreme physical distress.
Next time you are at the beach try to grab a shark and pull it to shore.

Hmmm...you want the humans to die a painful death because they killed a fish?
