This is a "Dewey Beats Truman" miss by the polls. Tomorrow starts a radical change in Europe!

The majority of Brits have voted for "Leave".

Good. Now hopefully, this will tell the morons over here that globalization doesn't work.

I really am surprised at this (assuming that the forecasters are right and Brexit wins). But hey, here's to the UK:

It's nice to see something like this pass (hopefully).

I hope it was the right decision. They are SO FED UP with being bossed around. They feel that the ordinary people get ignored while the rich get richer. Sound familiar? Like maybe sorta in this country?? But we can't vote to get out of our government--I wouldn't want to do away with our government but just CHANGE IT. No matter who we vote for it's the same ol'.

Interesting that FoxNews even was on the establishment/remain side, as they printed an article slanted against the votes to exit. Congratulations to the people of UK, who have freed themselves a little from a slew of govt. bureauocrats in Brussels. Funny that the pound is down, because I think this will be a good thing for their country.

It's probably the end of the UK. Scotland wanted to remain in the EU by about two thirds. Another Scottish independence vote will be around the corner, and this time I bet they get it.

Either way, the UK is just four areas combined into a country - England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

England used to be a country itself, and it can be one again.

I don't think the UK is actually ever going to leave the EU despite this vote. I strongly suspect they will placate the masses with a lot of talk about leaving. Then they will renegotiate a better deal with the EU. They will present this along with another vote. Rinse repeat until it passes.

The difference is that leaving the EU (or at least renegotiating a new contract) will be beneficial to the UK.

Leaving the UK will not be beneficial to Scotland in any way, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Wrong. It's four countries united in a kingdom.

England was always a country, for thousands of years. This never changed.
