She should have taken one for the team and said she was the only one who used cocaine. Now the husband is out a job and a career, so this kid's life is ruined from the start.
On top of being horrible parents, they doubled down on evil and selfishness by twice refusing to allow the hospital to draw the baby's blood. It's impossible to express my feelings towards these cretins, it would be all **** ******* *********.

Exactly. CYA over the well-being of your baby? Unreal.
When it's said and done we haven't told you a thing
Well, in the 1960s, as memory serves, investigative journalists in AZ were being car bombed, if they got too close to messy stories. That helps explain why you now have bubble-headed bleached blondes doin' the news - & apparently recreational (professional?) drugs of their choice. Tough start for that kid, though. Talk about your captive audience.
On the other hand, drug overdoses do also explain why the local TV news often seems pretty glassy-eyed to me. It could just be a coincidence, I suppose ...
Husband-and-wife TV personalities in Arizona have been indicted on drug charges after cocaine was found in their baby's system.
Krystin Lisaius, 26, and husband Somchai Lisaius both used cocaine while hosting friends on May 14 in their Oro Valley home, according to the police report obtained by the Arizona Daily Star. Krystin Lisaius breast-fed the 4-month-old baby the next morning, and the infant became ill.
The parents complained their child was "wabbly," had "became limp" and that her "eyes were rolling" into the back of her head, Tucson Weekly reported.
They did not allow the hospital to draw blood, according to the online publication. After leaving the facility against the hospital recommendation, they agreed to take the child to another medical center. However, they again refused a toxicology test for the child.
Both parents eventually admitted to using cocaine after tests showed the drug in the baby's body, according to Tucson Weekly, but Krystin said she did not believe the baby would be harmed if 12 hours had passed before breast-feeding the infant.
The parents were indicted on charges of possession of a dangerous drug, drug paraphernalia and child abuse. They made their first court appearance on Monday, pleading not guilty.
Somchai Lisaius has been fired from his job at KOLD, according to Tucson Weekly. Krystin Lisaius, who has previously worked at KGUN, met her husband when she was an intern at KOLD.
Idiots. They look like clubbing numb skulls. Meathead and the Ditz. They should lose custody of their child because they don't seem like the type that will learn their lesson.
First off, cocaine is an overrated drug. If you're going to party down some psychedelics. People talk about the visuals, but the body buzz is by far the most incredible thing you will ever experience. It's like a 6+ hour orgasm.
Secondly, they have an infant...why are they doing drugs? Both need to have a clear mind to take care of the wee one. What are you (the woman) doing using drugs when you're breastfeeding?
Crazy, you mean someone can advance on the basis of their attractiveness while being complete morons otherwise?
Quote:
Thomas, who is also the child’s godfather, was interviewed by OVPD and said he was “good friends” with the couple and was at the Lisaius’ home on that night for a party.
According to the police report, Thomas stated, “I saw her (Krystin Lisaius) do one line, tops.” He also stated that he ingested cocaine with Somchai Lisaius through a rolled-up receipt from a bathroom countertop.
During the course of investigation, Somchai Lisaius told OVPD detectives that on the same evening, he and his wife hosted a barbecue at their home for a birthday celebration, including family and friends. Somchai Lisaius eventually admitted that he used cocaine that night, having initially denied the act, and that he used the drug “every six weeks or so.” He also said that he has witnessed his wife using cocaine since having their child.
