Apologies to my fellow posters who are Jewish. Church teachings have been amended and they now teach that it wasn't your people - it was my people. Not that my ancestors were Roman, but close enough.
Some historians have said the reason for this was the Romans didn't want to make themselves out as the people who killed the son of god as they're trying to convert the people of Rome to the religion they persecuted. "we didn't kill him, it was the jews who killed him". Looking back at historical records shows the Roman leader of Jerusalem hated and went out of his way to disrespect the jews. Riding his chariot through a Jewish burial site tends to say, "*********!"

You are correct. Both Herod Antipas and Pontious Pilate washed their hands of it, saying they only did as others wanted them to do, but while the Bible states this is the case, scholars have said otherwise.

I thought for sure that the bracelets were going to work. Alas, it was not to be.

Looked at online reports.... In Europe, sales of self defense weapons (pepper spray, tasers, handguns) have sky rocketed this year.

The "Do Not Molest Me" wrist bands are intended to put the public on alert to the risk and encourage victims to report a very under reported crime, not stop attackers from attacking. That should be obvious to everyone.

Also, any info from the quoted publication should be taken with a huge grain of salt. It's very biased with a clear anti-immigrant agenda and the quality of their work is questionable.
So you think any publication that takes the position that it expects immigrants to act in a lawful, civil manner in their new country is somehow inferior in its reporting?

Germany was only paying reparations to the people directly impacted by the Holocaust. That is, anyone who was alive at that time and could prove being persecuted or losing their home to Nazis or their collaborators.

And yes, it's all the direct result of nearly two thousand years of nonstop, vile, rabid Antisemitic propaganda from thousands of churches all across Europe. The Jews were blamed for many different things, from causing the plague by poisoning the wells at the time of Black Death 700 years ago, to creating the worldwide Socialist conspiracy 80 years ago. Their perceived faults kept changing with times yet they were always being accused of something. When Emperor Constantine decided to do a hostile takeover of Christian religion and appropriate it for the needs of Imperial Rome, he needed to distance that new Roman ideology from the people who created it. And the best way to do this was by vilifying them. And this went on for nearly two thousand years, at the time when people held the Church in highest respect and listened to sermons as if the words were coming from God himself.

Just imagine how this impacted the mentality of Europeans over 18 centuries.

No one is expecting any reparations from the Vatican. The Jews are not vindictive. They just want to be treated fairly, that's all.

I think a collar would work much better than a bracelet. A large collar. Attached to a leash. Around the neck of Rottweiler. A Rottweiler named Allah.

If they kill over a cartoon, I can imagine what some would do over a dog named Allah.
