Didn't really see much from a brief search. Looks like he directed and filmed a minor to do something sexually explicit. Since he wasn't charged with statutory rape, probably didn't do anything beyond that. I mean, yeah, sicko but light plea bargains are how justice works since they can't possibly try every case. Filming some 16-year-old is sick (may have been much younger than that) but it's also relatively small fry in the scheme of things. Better than molesting someone, raping them, prostituting them out, paying for sex, etc. I mean, it's really hard to say without knowing any details which I don't really want to know anyway.
Weird either way. You figure someone like that in LA wouldn't have any problem using their position to get sexual favors from 18 year olds. Maybe the allure is the underage aspect and forbidden fruit. Not much difference between 16 and 18, maybe much younger. Bleh.
""In the criminal justice system, sexually-based offenses are considered especially heinous.""
And yet this man made a show on these topics, what a sick bastard.
Well, this is a tad ironic... but look at it this way, anyone who has power or fame is pretty much guaranteed to be a bad person. It is just the way Christian & Islamic societies evolved out of Judaism.

Not surprising. People make films of things that interest them, so not surprising that a director of shows about sex crimes is interested in sex crimes.
