Penniless? He's offering her $50 mil or so, which is $50 mil more than she came into the marriage.

Lets be real, she wasnt taking care of the kids, she had nannies for that, she wasnt cleaning or "tending to the house", she had maids for that, for 13 years her job was to have sex with her husband.

Getting $50 mil in exchange for that is better than any high-end prostitute would earn.

You get someone accustom to that kind of life, there's really no going back. He should have known better, and she should have too. Sounds like they deserved each other.

Oh she can go back, and she should. If she is a super model, why are people so against her making her own money by working, instead of stealing it like she is trying to do.

He made an agreement with her, presumably. She stayed home and he worked knowing that she wouldn't have her own money. He doesn't get to keep all the money while she walks away with nothing. It's that simple.

Im pretty sure that agreement was for during the marriage. She stays home and does nothing while the maids and hired help do everything for her, while he works. Got it, no problem. Once the marriage is over, she leaves and supports herself, like every other adult does. Why cant a super model make a living for herself? Should be simple.

No why? What does that have to do with her being able to support herself?

I figured a woman wouldn't be so dense about the subject. That's all.

The woman is in her 50's and you're saying she should just go out and be a super model. Do you see where I'm going with that?

This story involves a Saudi billionaire and a supermodel, two people who breathe extremely rare air. I fail to see what this has to do with any of the rest of us. I have absolutely no clue what the real story is here nor do I feel qualified to weigh in about whether or not her demands are fair.

Yeah, sure, replace super model with any of the other countless jobs that 50 year olds do to support themselves on a daily basis. Or are we just going to keep pretending that this woman is incapable of supporting herself like an adult?
