Scary. Violence like this happens every day if one looks for random incidents of violence, even murder, in the press.

Why did you post this particular assault today?

And as serious as this was, I laughed really hard when that guy walked back into McDonalds. He's just like "alright, **** this." I know I shouldn't have laughed, but I just could help it.

But yeah, I don't know. People do crazy stuff all the time. He was probably mad about something stupid or on drugs or needed to be on drugs so he found a pipe and went after someone. Not much to say. He'll likely be charged with some sort of assault. Hopefully somewhere along the lines, whatever caused him to do this is addressed.
