A Georgia man who won millions in the lottery could face life in prison after pleading guilty to using a portion of his prize to invest in a crystal meth operation.

Ronnie Music Jr., 45, of Waycross, Georgia, pleaded guilty last week to federal drug and gun charges after U.S. attorneys presented evidence that he "conspired with others to possess and distribute kilograms of methamphetamine," according to a statement released by the Department of Justice (DOJ).

"The investigation revealed that in September, 2015, Music’s co-conspirators were caught attempting to sell approximately 11 pounds of crystal meth, with a street value in excess of $500,000," said the DOJ.

Ohh my! why that is silly!

since our govt hands over drug money like halloween candy. How else do you think they handle snitches? They give them money and sometimes even supply the drugs!

But yeah I feel for this fellow.... His investment landed him behind bars...

give us a few years, we'll legalize many drugs so as to keep ppl in business...

Why would you be so stupid after winning enough money to have a comfortable life.

Dealing in drugs is bad enough but doing it after being given a golden opportunity in life beggars belief.

Still he has a long time to think things through in his jail cell.

Meh...now he can hire a better attorney. Despite having millions, he is only human, and humans always want more. There is no such thing as "enough" when it comes to money. So he made a bad investment, its not that big a deal.

It's a big enough deal that he may spend the rest of his days in prison, thinking about "what could have been" his life.
