There are so many current events it seems logical to post them in the "Current Events" forum. However the intention of this forum was as a place to put those stories that don't really have a home. Hence the "non-controversial" part. I know it can be frustrating to put work and thought into a thread or post only to have it deleted. So i'm putting together a list of topics and where to post about them. If there is a topic I haven't mentioned please DM me and I'll add it to the list.
