Bruce Cook, owner of Kactus Point Charolais stud erected the sculpture on his farm on the Murray Valley Highway at Lake Charm near Kerang as “a bit of fun.”
But after someone complained that the sculpture was offensive and obscene Mr Cook received a call from a police officer telling him he had to take it down and that he could be charged with “publishing pornographic images”.
pornography: (n) the depiction of erotic behavior (as in pictures or writing) intended to cause sexual excitement
Maybe the police should be visiting the person who thought of sexual excitement when they saw the hay bales and leave the farmer alone on his own damn property.
I wonder what people would say if someone put it on a cake for a kid's birthday party?
If it were two bulls, someone would sue if the bakery refused to do it.
