This is cool. The salient question is will humanity as we know it be around to colonize if applicable. Sort of like for all those who would like to "Stop the world, I want to get off" mindset or will the insanity of humanity and those controlling the mechanisms of our earthly realm leave the mess they foster and create behind for better environs, a la, the breakaway civilization theory.
Perhaps there is a 'traveler' amongst us? But alas, I don't think we've advanced to become interesting enough as yet.

I can't honestly believe that this is the first we know of this. Sounds fishy to me that we are only discovering this, after all these years in space and with all the telescopes.
How can you determine if something seems fishy if you clearly don't understand the fundamentals of locating such planets?

Three of the planets are in the Goldilocks zone. The Hubble has confirmed that two fo the inner planets are not surrounded by hydrogen atmospheres.
Does anyone know if oxygen can be created by other sources than plant life (chlorophyll)?
We could send Chlor and Phyll there, right away, so they can get started on that oxygen thing.
