Nationwide AT&T outage is affecting 911 calls

AT&T is experiencing a nationwide outage that’s affecting 911 calls, authorities said.

Police departments across the country have been urging customers to call another number in the event of an emergency.

In a statement to the East Texas ABC affiliate KLTV, AT&T said the outage had been caused by a “service issue” — which was affecting wireless calls to 911.

911 was out for AT&T customers in DFW as well.

I heard there were also some issues with T-Mobile and 911, but I don't know the details.
