Nope - 14 is below the age of consent (male or female) for sex or for marriage. Why would it NOT be okay to have sex but OKAY to get married? jeez louise

Since when is ignorance of the law a defense? But she'll get a slap on the wrist...and sexes reversed, we'd make a big deal of it but he'd only get community service or somesuch in the end once the publicity died down.

Fun fact,age of consent in a lot of Europe is anywhere from 14-16.

Today the punishment also includes lifetime registration as a sex offender. Wonder if she will get the same?
