That was my thought, too. I imagine the man could have possibly had friends and relatives there watching, as well. Better to be respectful about it, rather than slashing the man's body up.

Snakes don't consume adult humans, the physiology makes it not possible for the snake to do so. Its rare they consume whole any humans though there have been verified accounts of a child being consumed. They will kill any and all if hungry or angered enough though. As far as hunting, they've been conducting the hunts for a a few years now in Florida out in the everglades, they advertise them yearly and people come out from various places, local and other.

BTW, there are dozens and dozens of fake videos of people being eaten by snakes on youtube, some more bizarre than others, but all fake.
