Wait, are we sure it was a "cover up story"? It sounds like half may be true.
If I had to guess, my guess is she was pretending to be pregnant, "with triplets", to get back at some guy who ditched her. She was torturing him with the belief she was pregnant when she knew all along she wasn't. This is a guess.
Then she hosted a gender reveal party and invited her friends and the guy and a buddy (or hired hit) went in to kill her or at least kill the unborn baby.
And in doing so they killed a mother of two little ones, and shot some children, and also shot the pretend pregnant woman in the leg.
And the ID of the shooters is still not known, from what I can tell.
