This brought tears to my eyes....

I remember what Jim Valvano the NC St coach said in a speech he gave when receiving the Arthur Ashe award on ESPN award show... the three things you should do everyday...
1. Laugh
2. Move your emotions to tears and
3. Think and do some reflection

If you do these 3 things everyday... that's a heck of a day !! This great role model covered number 2 for me. Number 1 I do consistently every morning when I look in the mirror...

I saw this yesterday on my FB page...I think this young man is a fine example of what caring about others means. His parents raised him well.

She may well have had a brochure....but her card did not work...and fostering is often a last minute situation with an emergency type atmosphere.

Thank goodness for this young man with a kind heart and compassion. And thank goodness for caring people like this woman willing to help lil ones who need them.

Wonderful of this young man...

However, this woman has a family including foster kids and there is ZERO back up plan for money? What if he hadn't been there? The kids would have gone without? When you are that broke probably not the best plan to take more kids in...JMO.
