Agreed. I am not buying much of what she said, at all. The pure logistics would be difficult.

I think ol' Jennifer is telling a Force 11 whopper.
I agree that she exaggerates a lot, and she might not be completely in touch with reality. But I'm pretty sure this was not a hoax, that some are making it out to be.

Just think about the amount of water those dogs needed daily, then of course think of what those dogs need to "expel" on that 38 foot sailboat.

I just don't agree that it is. And I don't agree that sailers are athletes.

And no, they don't have to be in shape to race. They don't even have to be sober.
I am familiar with racing.

I guess the bottom line is, what the Hell do you care what someone else calls it ? Ok, so you see it as a recreation, why do you want to be that "Grammar Nazi" who feels the need to impose only your way of thinking on everyone else ? You have your opinion, others have theirs.

When I watched the America's Cup the last few times, i'm pretty sure the drunk, fat slobs were left at the dock. The crew is very busy, alert, and active.
As for chess, being on Wide World of Sports does not make an activity a sport, agreed?

So, to your point, name some activities you consider sports and explain why the participants are athletes?

Sometimes you laugh with people, sometimes you laugh at them. Either way they can be funny.

I don't think that the two of them are in on this together - I think that Jennifer had her lady-friend held captive!
I think they docked somewhere, committed a bank robbery, escaped on the boat, and then made up this story as an alibi.

If they had been lost at sea for five months, their skin would look like leather and even the dark complected woman's hair would be light-colored. I live in a beach town and I know what people look like when they go to the beach every day. These women were not on a boat for five months.

That is the consensus here. Hopefully AP and the insurance company are working on proof that we get to see.
