If only it were just Chicago! Orlando and Atlanta are awful, too. I despise both of those airports.
Lol I was making a reference to the poor man who was beat up last year in a United flight outta Chicago, not to the airport. I never really had a problem with Atlanta or Orlando's airport tho I only been there on layovers so I can't relate.
I remember from the dark ages of my childhood, you got dressed up to board a plane or train. I hated my black patent shoes! Church clothes attire was called for - women wore gloves, men wore jackets - maybe not a tie, but with a turtleneck. Last flight I took over the past Holidays, anything goes! After seeing the mess at Dulles, I think I will now travel in sweats (in the winter) - pretty much the only attire I feel comfortable sleeping on the floor.
If this man has flown 50 years ago and pulled this stunt, they would be treating other passengers for shock.
Oh, those were the days! My grandmother even "dressed up" to go to the supermarket until the 70's!
Food? Which airlines provide food? I've been on four-hour flights that did not so much as offer a complimentary soda nor a tray table large enough to accommodate a bag of crackers to anyone not in first class. That era is long over.
Also, what the linked story excludes but can be found in other coverage is that the "gentleman" deliberately smeared his feces around the lavatories. It was an intentional act of vandalism not an unfortunate episode of gastric distress.
Geez, I thought it was obvious I was joking, guess not. I am well aware of the lack of food and service, and the disagreeable (or, in this case, disgusting) behavior of some passengers.
