He was a brilliant man, who's contributions to science and making people think deeper about life and the universe were tremendous. RIP Mr. Hawking.

Hawking's warning's about broadcasting our existence to the galaxy should be taken seriously. If it is determined that our planet is viable for colonization, it won't be Columbus and the Indians, it will be more like a concrete truck pouring it's contents over a bunch of frogs.

he lived about 40 years longer than others who were born at the same time with the same disease.

It's rather curious how he survived.
