I'm a hopeless romantic ....and this matches the hopeless part.
There is little to be endeared upon in this scenario.

I'm a believer that love is timeless....
He has yet to go thru the stepping stones of maturity....

I once mentioned this to my brother, who is married to a Filipina woman, and he was all "but our mother isn't anything like her." Then I reminded him that we had a Filipina nanny, to whom he was VERY attached in his early years, and it was like whoooosh *MIND BLOWN*! His wife thought that was hysterical.

That is scary. I'm not sure what that says about my husband. I'm not about to turn into a cat lady like his mom any time soon. My oldest teenage son is dating. I find that he likes tends to like girls that are more like me personality wise.

I'm a little confused. Was he 19 when they married or is he 19 now, after two years of marriage? That would mean that he was 17 when they married. In Tennessee, under 18 needs parental permission to marry.

Assuming he's currently 19, and came out of an "unhappy" relationship with a 77-year-old woman when he was 17.......red flags are wavin' in the breeze.

I haven't read all the rants, but, IMO, if they are happy, leave them alone.
Their life is none of my business.
