Don Gorske gobbled down his 30,000th Big Mac on Friday at the same McDonald’s where he got his first taste of the beefed-up burger in 1972.

“At the time it was the only McDonald’s in town and I had just gotten my driver’s license,” Gorske said, just prior to setting a new world record for “Most Big Macs consumed.”
I remember seeing him in "Super Size Me" way back in 2004.

He looks like a confused John Lennon. Has the circular glasses, the mop top and the side burns...

Eating that many Big Macs cannot possibly be healthy for him.

The only time I ever really ate Big Macs was in Jordan. We would get cravings for American fast food and with our one day off a week, we would leave base and go out to eat. I would get 2 Big Macs, a large fry and lemonade. It was also great going from Afghanistan to Kuwait and seeing a McDonald's. Made us feel like we were back in civilization again.

I dunno how he stands the taste... They are nothing like they were in 1972 (Even 1992)

It's Wisconsin.

They left out the part where he washed it down with his 178,604th beer...

Ew. lol Granted, I have never even had one.

I liked to dip my fries in mac sauce, though. The fries were the only thing I would eat from there as a kid.

Burp. He must have a cast iron stomach. Also, a bizarre fixation on these burgers to have kept track of how many consumed for the past 35 years.

He looks to be normal weight, does that mean Big Macs are really diet food?

I'm not sure that is something I'd brag about.
