Wonder why it's not been mentioned (possibly not discovered?) that Kate's mom June also died by suicide. And after numerous attempts throughout Kate's childhood and adulthood. That must have played a huge part in her psychological suffering and ultimately her own suicide. Lots of secrets in her family here in KC. Lots. Many of them quite dirty. The older sister Ann had (or still has?) a husband who molested her (and Kate's) minor niece. Just a screwed up family. Why all the hush-hush about it though? Poor lady. She impacted the fashion industry enormously with her cheerful and brightly colored outlook on life.... and made so many so very happy while she wasn't perhaps always necessarily so herself. RIP, Kate!
