B: In one of my current jobs of running phone assistance, I don't think I've been sexually harassed but I have gotten off the phone with some people saying things to me that I would rather they didn't, just because of me doing my job did not give them the answer they wanted.
And then there is C ............... how many people, how many times have tried to tell a cop how to do their jobs? I've been called "Hitler" in that environment. Ie......."would you really say that to someone who has deadly force at their disposal?". Given that people do, then why is this incident surprising?
I just can't imagine working in a place, or working and/or living in an area, where employees are encouraged to bring a weapon to work. And in Milwaukee?? Somehow I thought that Milwaukee was far from being like the popular perception of Chicago.
I am just very glad and very grateful that I live in a quiet and peaceful suburb. It might be boring, but I will take boring over violent and crime-ridden any day.

Same here. People say ignorant stuff all the time about their perceptions of crime in New Jersey and New York (we get newcomers on the NJ forum anxiously asking us about "safe" towns, as if that isn't the default), and then we see this stuff happening in Happy Days Town?

How many times have you heard "I just can't believe that this happened HERE!"
Carrying a firearm for protection doesn't necessarily mean you live in a violent area.
It just means that you're:
a. Intelligent enough to realize that crime can and DOES happen anywhere and in any type of setting
b. Prudent enough to take responsibility for your own safety.
He probably has an IQ of a toy poodle thus his actions. I'd be fine with locking him away for a very long time where he will be defending himself from such attacks daily (hopefully).
Yes, but don't insult the toy poodles, who could probably at least get through their food without injuring anyone. Not to mention do Obedience, Agility, and (in the past at least) circus routines.
