We dont know if that's what it was about but my daughters both experienced verbal abuse in some situations with men just going about their daily business. Usually there was alcohol involved though from what I know. I would not be surprised that this was a case of rejection.

I know, but the fact that all the catholic schools have such high student numbers tells me, lots of people are not concerned enough to send their kids to another school.

The parish i went to grade school at was guilty of sweeping a couple pedo priests under the rug back in the 80s, this parish was never held responsible, no one ever even questioned them about it!! Today, its still like, something that happened long ago, lets just forget it and move on.

The world was a far more violent place before those things were invented.

Lack of critical thinking, as we can see displayed here, is a greater indication of the propensity for violence in our society than depictions of violence in media.

Our kids are left to see the world in simple platitudes with simple solutions.

To a person with a violent mindset, that means to act out with violence rather than thinking out their problems and finding reasonable solutions.

To a non-violent person, it means assigning blame to media and/or "others" (other races/religions/nationalities), and censoring them or discriminating against them.

There was a kid here who got busted with a gun in his backpack. The jury is still out on whether he intended violence, or was just a prepper scared of the next school shooting.

Guys used to just hit women in the face. It was perfectly legal back in the good ol' days, so never reported.
