I am waiting for a liberal news outlet to report on this.

Stuff like this can lead to school shootings. This is not over by a long shot. There was a time when someone in authority would bring the two together and hopefully wind up with a handshake and everyone moves on. Back in the day one of the coaches would handle it. Now, a kid gets a gun. Big sigh.

Not too long ago, I was in school, and things like this would either be done and over with at this point, or if the "loser" wanted more, said loser would confront the winner again in a similar fashion, and either get their butts whooped again, or win. Whatever the outcome, typically, after a second bout, the score would be settled and all "beefs" squashed.

Having someone in authority solely try to bring them together with a handshake is hardly effective. It's a temporary measure that only makes the authoritative party feel good about settling peace, while anger still boils within the two teens.

It's why I have always liked the fact that "fights" are allowed in hockey. You have a problem with someone? Settle the score then and there, and once it's over, whether you won or lost, you shake hands/acknowledge the other and move on.

More of a clothesline/tackle, looked like a bona fide WWE move. The small girls speed was too much, the bully did not expect a fast, pummeling barrage like that. Those blows add up fast to a world of hurt. Its very disorienting to defend against that too. She deserved it, as she attacked first.

Right, if it’s a girl defending herself from another girl-bully they’re both “trash.”

If it’s a guy defending himself from a bully he’s a “hero.”

What was the girl who was attacked supposed to do, sit there and become a punching bag because it wouldn’t have been “ladylike” to defend herself?

Did you hear the filthy mouth before anything even happened? That cheerleader wasn't afraid of the other girl. It was a fight started by the other girl but not bullying. I saw a few girl fights in school they all looked like this, someone had to throw the first punch.

Bullying is picking on a weak person who can't fight back either verbally, emotionally or physically, often torturing them relentlessly over a long period of time. I have never met a weak cheerleader, they have a posse of jocks behind them if they can't get the job done themselves. This was just a fight between tough girls.

In a "zero tolerance" environment, that's exactly what they would expect that girl to do. In all reality, if this was a school event, she'll probably get a suspension.

That cheerleader owned that yellow shirt girl. And the body slam? She certainly has had some type of training because once she got sucker punched she went into beast mode. Lesson of the day: Be careful who you put your hands on, you just might be the joke of the day on youtube forever.

Really? The cheerleader girl had been putting up with the girl for a long time...she was harassed constantly. The fat girl got what she deserved.
