I'm weeping for us... for those who don't get it... for those who believe justice was served.

Just because society in general is civilized does not mean that all people in it are civilized. Those who are not should not be judged by the standards of a civilized society. When one who lives by the sword dies by the sword, justice has been served and mourning (except by the deceased's loved ones) is inappropriate.
