He said that Wal Mart reduces costs by making full time employees into part time ones. This is nothing new though. Everyone knows that. I wonder if he just recently found that out? I can't stand Wal Mart anyway, it's a very unethical business IMO.

as opposed to which store? the $15/HR Costco stores? how ethical of them that the poorer folks can't afford to shop there due to membership costs
it's easy to be ethical with richer people. they don't steal inventory
Why would the news report on the purchases of walmart shoppers?
More along the lines of mass poisoning... ANTIFREEZE (Ethylene glycol, the old green stuff) and chocolate milk (to cover the taste of antifreeze in their drinks)?
It's absolutely guaranteed to kill animals that drink it, and antifreeze is sweet, so they WANT to drink it once they taste a little.
I still find it extremely odd that they would only be buying those two articles and nothing else. Hard to believe anybody would ever need 12 gallons of antifreeze at one time, though I could understand buying 12 gallons of chocolate milk all by itself...

There's a WHOLE LOT more to it than just what they pay their employees. In fact a lot of Wal Mart's poor ethics don't have to do with their workers. I would say, start doing some learning if you think that's all it's about.

The first thing I thought of was a small garage and a business owner uses for requests for a coolant flush.
Maybe the chocolate milk will be sold marked up in a little store connected to a repair shop...
It's well known Wal Mart sucks as a place to work, and shop. Its only good for entertainment purposes, watching the many Wal-Weirdos who shop there (not saying all shoppers) theres whole websites dedicated to this. They treat thier employees like crap. This kids awesome. Hes young and its not going to be his career, so he'll be fine, withouth having to sell thier cheap junk made by kids in sweatshops overseas.
Well, if you don’t want to buy sweatshop made items, all well and good. That basically reduces your options to things made in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia.
Walmart employs 1.4 million in the U.S. That is 1% of the working population. If they went bankrupt tomorrow, that’s a lot of people unemployed, a lot if money out if the economy. You may not like it, but they can get away with less than ideal working conditions because there will always be people filling out applications to replace no skilled 17 yr olds like the whiny subject of the story.
Just another idealistic 17-year old who imagines the world will change in response to his tantrums. We've all been there at one time or another. No news or anything new here.

I'm sorry but this is not news. Just search YouTube for videos of employees using the PA to quit their jobs at Walmart. It happens pretty regularly. And those are only the ones who post it on social media.
