I am appalled at the lack of information:

https://news.yahoo.com/hershey-kisse...150129045.html

Their machines are either screwed up or their quality control got recentered.

It's not the end of the world, but yeah, if you're making a much loved & traditional product, don't screw it up. I see a shake-up in their QC dept. on the horizon.

Step one: Make the chocolate disgusting
Step two: Make the molds/process

Just don't understand why our sales are still flat despite all our recent acquisitions of companies. So confusing =D

It isn't a quality control issue if all the kisses are "damaged". Hershey's bean counter probably suggested that the candy company could save an annual $400,000 by shaving off the chocolate tip.

I bought 3 bags just over the weekend, my boss bought some today, all are normal. The article wasn't very informative, how many damaged bags have there been so far? Seems like QC will be in trouble.

The article says every bag is like that...

Maybe this is just a marketing ploy to get people to buy more Hershey kisses?

I've recently bought a bag of the "Christmas tree kisses" (just different wrapping) and a holiday variety bag of Kisses, Miniatures, and mini Reeses Cups. All the kisses were sporting their tips. I'm making peanut butter blossoms this weekend, so I guess I better examine the bag thoroughly before purchasing to make sure the tips are intact,
