Absolutely insane. The craziest part is that they took her cell phone to bait her into coming with them and then RECORDED THE CRIME ON HER PHONE before giving it back to her! Wh....what? Wait, WHAT?! Do these morons not think TWO seconds ahead?! I'm simply speechless. Heartbroken that such a thing had to happen to her. Hope she recovers.

And this: She escaped after finally getting her cell phone back. She shouldn't even care about the damn phone after that.

The phone had all the evidence of the rape, and recorded who did it. She was smart to get it back. They were dumb to let her get it back.

I hadn't seen that because I stopped reading after I got to the point where she said she left after finally getting the phone back. So it is good that she got it back.

And they were also dumb to record the rape.

She will never forget this. Never. She may be able to get it to the back of her brain eventually but it will sneak back out when she least expects it. Let's hope there is no pregnancy from the rape. If there is I hope her parents believe in termination. Please don't let this girl have to suffer more.

I hope these kids get the book thrown at them. I can't even imagine how their parents feel right now. Were there signs their kids were sexually aggressive?

Cops feel there may be other victims! I really hope there are not but would not be surprised if there is.

The boys — a 12-year-old, two 13-year-olds and a 14-year-old — were arrested and charged with kidnapping and raping the girl in December, police said. The News Journal is not identifying the suspects because of their ages.

The boys were all charged with first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree conspiracy and multiple counts of second-degree unlawful sexual contact.

One of the 13-year-olds was also charged with possession of a deadly weapon while committing a felony, aggravated menacing, two counts of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child, terroristic threatening and theft under $1,500. He was arraigned and held in lieu of a $65,000 secured bail, county police said.

The other suspects were arraigned and each held on $104,000 cash bail, according to country police.

County police said they're concerned there may be more victims. Anyone with information should call county police at (302) 395-2745.

And they'll get off light because of their ages.

Mad dogs get put down. These animals will go to day-camp for 4-6 years, then be released back into human society.

Watch you back, Delaware.

Rape is not about sex, its about power and control, it doesnt surprise me they recorded it and gave her the phone back, that in itself was extremely cruel.

I also would say refusing to list the names of the criminals due to their age, conflicts with protecting public safety, they very much should list their full names, thats pretty lame on the papers part imo, but again, not surprising, doing all they can to protect and shield the criminals!

Not identifying juveniles charged with a crime is pretty standard unless they're being charged as adults, something the story didn't mention/was unclear about.

Yea, its standard when its regular crimes, but for something THIS brutal and extreme, they absolutely should have listed their full names. Every female (adult and child) in that area has cause to fear these boys.

Don't think for a minute that people don't know who they are, especially at school. Those boys have an immense amount of street cred now with many of their peers.
